Tonearm Damping Fluid

Leverage, found on many turntables, is used to prevent the stylus from suddenly falling onto the record. When you bring the lever to the location of the sound track you want and lower the lever, the needle is slowly put into the sound channel. But even if your turntable is new, over time the lever action will become harder and the stylus will drop faster. This is due to the fact that the oil in the lever mechanism loses its properties over time.

Tonearm Damping Fluid restores this feature of your turntable. It also reduces the vibrations that occur in the tonearm, allowing you to reach a higher quality sound.

Usage :

• Completely remove the screw securing the lift mechanism.
• Disconnect the needle at the tip of the syringe from the syringe.
• Remove a pin head of oil from the injector in a non-drip amount.
• Transfer the oil into the screw cavity with the injector needle.
• Screw the mechanism back on and wait at least an hour.
• Observe the movement, apply the same amount again as needed.

WARNINGS !

• Tonearm Damping Fluid is a highly viscous substance. Before the application, be sure to bring napkins.
• Do not use more than a pinhead of oil. Wait at least one hour after transferring it to the screw cavity. Observe the movement. If necessary, make the same amount of lubrication and observe again.
• Be careful not to touch your body. Keep away from people who may harm themselves.
